In the last few days, many Hunter Douglas Alliance dealers have reported they are again receiving “scam” requests for estimates, this time through leads on the iCM system. We believe that someone may be going through the Dealer Locator and targeting Hunter Douglas Alliance dealers.

We want to alert you to this so you can beware of these scam communications and not be “taken in.” Following is the text of the email that several dealers have received, all with the same person signing the email:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have this contract on the purchase of window blindes.I would be glad if you get me the price list for the window blindes you have in stock now .Help me to get Good window blindes for this blindes contract. I would make arrangements with a freight company to pick them up from your location when it is ready for shipment.These window blindes will be shipped overseas.

Please get back to me with the cost price for one and your payment methods as well. Hope to do business with you.

Please be careful about selling to anyone you don’t know who contacts you by email or phone only and wants to place an order for foreign shipment!
